NOTICE: BURN BAN IN EFFECT FOR VERNON TOWNSHIP STARTING jULY 13, 2026

The Vernon Township Fire Chief has issued a burn ban effective July 13, 2026, and it will remain in place until further notice. All open burning—including brush, yard waste, and recreational fires—is prohibited during this period. This action is being taken to protect residents and property due to current fire‑risk conditions.
